Nigella damascena

Love-In-A-Mist - This extremely pretty flower popped up in my garden without invitation! Some research revealed it to be Love-in-a-mist. So it also had the most pretty name as well! Sometimes known as Ragged Lady this is an annual flowering plant belonging to the buttercup family. It is not a native plant. More likely a garden escape. I'm only too pleased it escaped into mine!
