Potentilla anserina

Silverweed - This creeping perennial is quite common in Ireland. The rooting runners are a lovely purple red while the flowers are bright yellow. A carpet of Silverweed is a lovely sight around damp grassy dunes, roadsides and hedgerows. Flowers May to August.
