Glechoma hederacea

Ground Ivy - flowers from March to September. can be invasive as it will form dense mats which can take over areas of lawn and woodland. Edible and used in salads in some countries. Attractive to bees and insects. It is not an ivy as the name suggests. It is actually in the mint family. Photographed at Attenborough Nature Reserve Nottinghamshire.
