Dactylorhiza incarnata
Early Marsh Orchid - this orchid varies a lot in colour from white to purple. It survives better in damp soils such as bogs and heaths. Sadly this orchid is in decline in Ireland. I came across these few specimens on the banks of Lough Ree at Glasson Co. Roscommon.
